OBJECTIVE: To explore how an object’s intended use can influence its aesthetic make up.

PROJECT: In you lies my heart - Conceptual functional object 1

PROCESS:

1. Come to class with a personal secret.
2. Bring in personal or found objects that relate to your secret.
3. Sketch possible containers for your secret. Use your objects directly or indirectly as guides. How does the vessel open? How does the interior relate to the exterior? How does the secret reveal itself?
4. Build a vessel / box / volume to contain the secret.
