Things That Make Me Wonder

While I was listening to music on the bus on the way to school (and trying to avoid angry thoughts at the students who would not stop walking across the street and made us sit for fifteen minutes while they texted their way through the crosswalk) I was thinking more about materials and how it makes a difference in the finished product that is created. For instance....

-take a series of pictures, like family photographs. Edit them so they are black and white and look at them while listening to a sad or melancholy song.

-take the same pictures, unedited, and look at them listening to a happier or more upbeat song.

The mood created is entirely different, even though the basic "design", if you will, is the same. The same pictures, different materials used to display them. I just think it's interesting.
