Color gradation is the gradual change in color. It can be from one color slowly changing into another color, one color tint slowly changing into another tint, or one color tone into another tone... and etc.
Variety is created through lines of different lenght, along with smooth and rough textures. Lastly, variety is created through numerous patterns and colors.
In what ways can asymmetrical balance be achieved?
Many strategies can be used to achieved asymmetrical balance. Such as, a large form is placed close to the fulcrum, while a small form is placed farther away, multiple small forms can balance a single large form, and a small, solid form can balance a large, open form.
A focal point is where you are wanting the viewer to look at. it is the point where the picture meets. the MAIN spot. THE POINT where all focus will be put on the work of art. What is color symmetry apart of?
Examples of forces to create contrast can include static/dynamic, smooth/ textured, small/large, and curvilinear/ rectilinear. The contrast is created when the forces are used in opposition. When the balance is right, it can create a dynamic composition.
A: Evidence of deliberation and order tend to increase the compositional unity in an object where as a composition composed of units that are unrelated tends to appear random and unresolved
what are the two cornerstones of composition?
ReplyDeleteunity and variety are the cornerstones of composition
ReplyDeletewhat are six common strategies for increasing order??? : )
six common strategies for increasing order are: grouping, containment, proximity, continuity, repetition, and closure.

ReplyDeleteWhat is proximity in an artpiece or design?
ReplyDeleteIn a design, the distance between visual units is called proximity, and even the most disparate forms can be unified with it.
