The multiples dress made of clothespins shown is obviously inspiring the consumer dress (an FCUK fringe dress) or they both have been inspired by the extremely similar ideas. Both the clothespin dress and the consumer fashion shown have the same lines, cut, and use of fringe. They even have similar straps. The only differences are the color, and that the fringe is made of fabric on the consumer dress and clothespins on the multiples dress.
Very nice finds. I never would've guessed that the beige dress was made from clothespins--the material appears much softer to the eye (maybe because of the color?).
ReplyDeleteDo you think the designers may have been inspired by flapper dresses? They have the same spaghetti straps, short cut, and fringe pattern.
